What is the Together for Wildlife campaign?
The Together for Wildlife campaign is a large-scale fundraising initiative launched by the Zoological Society of East Anglia (ZSEA). It aims to support vital conservation and education efforts, helping to protect wildlife and promote biodiversity. The campaign consists of four key components, each designed to achieve specific goals.
What are the key components of the campaign?
The campaign is divided into four parts:
Build for Wildlife: Education is key to long-term conservation success. Our Build for Wildlife initiative aims to raise £100,000 to revamp our education centre at Banham Zoo and expand our outreach to home-schooled students to inspire and equip the next generation with the knowledge and passion needed to protect wildlife. A key highlight of the Build for Wildlife initiative will be a special fundraising dinner and silent auction on Saturday, 17th May 2025 providing an opportunity to engage our community, celebrate our achievements, and raise additional funds to support our mission.
Walk for Wildlife: Join us for a large-scale sponsored walk event, with the goal of raising £25,000. This event is an opportunity for our community to come together and support ZSEA’s ongoing conservation efforts. Every step taken will help protect endangered species and their habitats, making a significant difference in our mission to preserve biodiversity.
Win for Wildlife: Enter for a chance to win a once-in-a-lifetime safari holiday. All proceeds will support vital lemur conservation efforts through the AEECL in Madagascar, fund a ZSEA team member’s trip to assist with this crucial work, and contribute to ZSEA’s broader initiatives, including animal care and education.
